"Heineken Hot Lap Contest" — Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to Heineken Hot Lap contest for consumers ("Contest") powered by United Breweries Limited ("UBL"). This Contest is managed by 'The Techtonic' ('Contest Partner') on behalf of the Company and it shall be the primary implementation partner for the Contest.
Individual persons who fulfil the eligibility criteria may participate in the Contest ("Participant(s)") and stand a chance to win Daily Rewards, Weekly Rewards and Sweepstakes ('Rewards').
Eligibility:
1. This Contest is open for participation only to persons who fulfil all of three following conditions: (i) Person should be a permanent resident of India (ii) Person is above the legal drinking age in their respective state of residence at the time of Participation and (iii) Person is legally competent to contract.
2. Employees, their immediate family members, agents, distributors, retailers and any other channel partner of UBL and Contest Partner are not eligible to participate in this Contest.
Contest:
1. The individual must scan the QR Code available and sign up using the mobile number, name, age as specified in the Privacy Policy.
2. Play the Heineken Hot Lap on the microsite and earn points.
Selection of Winner:
1. Daily Prize
  1. Top participants who score a minimum of 50 points in the day stand a chance to win the Daily Prize.
2. Weekly Prize
  1. The top 5 players for each week ending on Saturday stand a chance to win the Weekly Prize.
3. Sweepstakes
  Top 100 scorers shall be eligible to participate in the lucky draw for sweepstakes (Ticket to Qatar).
  1. 2 individual winners (Winner(s)) shall win the flight tickets, hotel stay, 1 individual match ticket to see the F1 race in Qatar live. The Company or the Contest Partner shall not be arranging for the Visa; hence the Winner(s) must have a valid passport with minimum 6 months' validity and must obtain the visa directly. In the event the visiting country denies the Visa to the Winner(s), the Company and/ or the Contest Partner shall not be responsible for any losses suffered or be required to provide any cash gratification in lieu of the hotel stay and / or the tickets as the case may be.
  2. Gift and entertainment tax to be borne by Winner(s).
  3. In case of Race getting cancelled, we bear no responsibility on the contest.
Capping:
1. A participant can win the Daily Reward up to 4 times during the Contest.
2. A participant can win the Weekly Reward only once during the Contest.
Territory:
The Contest is applicable pan India except Pondicherry, Tamil Nadu and anywhere else as restricted by the Government.
Contest Period & Contest Timings:
1. This a limited time Contest that will run for a period of 6 weeks starting on 23^rd August 2026 till 10^th October 2026, 11:59:59 PM or until as determined by UBL ("Contest Period").
2. UBL may, at its sole discretion, terminate the Contest prior to the end of the Contest Term or extend the same.
Contacting Winner(s):
1. The Participant(s) hereby consent to allow UBL or the Contest Partner or its authorised third parties to contact them in the event they are selected as the Winner for the Reward.
2. In case of a positive response from the shortlisted winner, each such shortlisted winner will be required to confirm age, identity via Government ID proof.
3. The Winners of the Daily and the Weekly rewards shall receive the voucher code directly on their registered mobile number via SMS/WhatsApp.
General Terms & Conditions:
1. UBL reserves the right to forfeit the prize in the event that the winner does not fulfil the verification and documentation process in the time and manner stipulated by UBL.
2. The performance of this game is subject to the quality and stability of the user's network. User experience may vary accordingly.
3. Reward will be issued subject to the Winner(s) satisfying the verification process and documentation requirement of the UBL.
4. Rewards won, if any, cannot be exchanged, transferred, or redeemed for cash or any other benefit or assigned to a third party.
5. UBL and/or its associates, affiliates and/ or its management, directors, officers, agents, representatives shall not be responsible for or liable (including but not limited to the product and service liabilities) for deficiency and/ or defect of any merchandise/service and/or for any kind of consequential damages/ loss, in any manner whatsoever. Participant hereby releases Company against all loss claim, demand, expense, liability or damage arising from or in connection with the rewards.
6. UBL reserves the right to modify eligibility criteria, duration of Contest, terms & conditions including rewards, of the Contest at its absolute discretion. UBL at any time can suspend, withdraw, or discontinue the Contest or restrict participation of any person, with immediate effect and without assigning any reason or notice.
7. All decisions of UBL in respect of the Contest and the Rewards, including selection of Winner(s) etc., made at its sole discretion, shall be final and binding on the Participant. UBL/Contest Partner shall not entertain any correspondence or any other claims whatsoever, in this regard.
8. In the event of the death of the confirmed winner, no claim from the nominee or his/her legal heirs of the confirmed winner shall be entertained for receiving the prize.
9. Each Participant represents and warrants that he/she is legally competent to enter binding contracts under applicable laws. By taking part and/or entering the Contest, the Participant warrants that all information provided by the Participant regarding Participant's name, age, state, city, address, phone number, etc., is true, correct, accurate and complete.
10. None of the provisions of these Terms and Conditions shall be deemed to constitute a partnership or Contest Partner between any Participant and UBL and the Participant shall not have the authority to bind UBL in any manner whatsoever.
11. Failure to exercise or delay in exercising a right or remedy provided hereunder or by law does not constitute a waiver of the right or remedy or waiver of other rights or remedies on the part of UBL or its Contest Partner.
12. UBL or its Contest Partner accepts no responsibility for late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, illegible, corrupted or misdirected entries, disruption of internet connectivity, unique codes, documents, claims or correspondence whether due to error, omission, alteration, tampering, unauthorized data hacking, deletion, theft, destruction, virus attack, transmission interruption, communications failure, hardware failure or otherwise. UBL or its agents shall not be liable for any consequences of user error including (without limitation) costs incurred.
13. If a Participant is dissatisfied with the Contest or the Contest rules and/or any content or any requirements of the Contest form, the materials available related thereto, or with these terms and conditions, his/her sole and exclusive remedy is to not participate in the Contest.
14. If a person chooses to access the Contest from outside India, he/she shall do so on his/her own initiative and shall be responsible for compliance with applicable local laws of the country.
15. The participation in the Contest is purely voluntary and the same shall be construed as an acceptance of the terms and conditions stipulated herein.
16. Participant consents to UBL or the Contest Partner to collect and process their personal data. Such data shall be stored and used for the purpose of this Contest and to inform Participant of future contests of similar nature, unless Participant expressly chooses to opt out of such communications.
17. The Contest is subject to the guidelines/directions issued by the Competent Authority having jurisdiction on the subject matter from time to time.
18. Participation in the Contest does not imply any acceptance to any offer contained herein and the same shall be subject to the Participant satisfying the Terms and Conditions contained herein and pending other preliminary verification/due diligence done by UBL.
19. All and any additional expenses including but not limited to travel to and from departure cities, food and beverages, local commute, visa, medical, insurance, personal expenses of any nature whether or not directly or indirectly linked to the Sweepstake or any other Reward shall be borne by the Winner.
20. 21. All disputes are subject to jurisdiction of appropriate Courts of Bangalore only.
